Welcome to February. Can you believe it's already February? January had nine lives, but thank goodness it is finally over! As we bid farewell to January and step into the month of love, let’s not forget to take a moment to reflect on the adventures that await us in February. Happy New Month!

January came with good tidings—like Christmas never ended.

I am excited to announce that my essay, “My Battle With My Skin,” was selected for publication in Issue 43 of The Shallow Tales Review

This is one of the works that is dear to my heart. It is as personal as my name and very much me—well, part of me—in black ink. It is my experience and a step towards living my truth. I am glad I found a home for it. 🕯️🖤

Over the years, I have been known to be a sucker for very dark poems. My poems hardly bring any joy. But that is about to change. This February, known for love and romance, I am going to take on the challenge of writing a romantic poem every day. That’s 29 feel-good poems! I plan to brighten up my Instagram page with some romantic poetry every day and maybe share some here too, but mainly, they will be on my Instagram.
