Dear Chocolate Box— A Poem

Day 2 (of this self-imposed challenge), I serve you all a reverse poem.

It is written so that two opposite meanings can be drawn from it, depending on whether you read it from the top down or the bottom up.

• Hint: Top-to-down is a love/erotic (maybe) poem. Down-to-top is me returning to my old ways—writing the living darkness out of the poem.

My Dear chocolate box,
lost to the world,
—found in your beauty
“Hold back the tears”
I whispered, softly. 
“live here”
Only 
memories of losing you, 
make me terrified.
These thoughts
—your new home. 
In that bed of white 
as you lay there 
Draped in the most delicate satin
a beauty to behold. 
The light, 
a kindness on your enamel skin
Your breasts—a priceless possession—
that death cannot have.
Rip open the  desire
part your legs, draw me nearer
let me in
Tonight,
my cholocate box, 
melt in my mouth 
drown me in your lemon-infused sweetness
—a bittersweet aftertaste. 
Give me home, take me whole
in your dripping wet abyss,
and taste freedom on your lips.
I travel worlds 
across the deep blues 
With you
that I lose track of time, that
I get lost in the ecstasy of mystery
—a way to be,
a dangerous obsession. 
“maybe I should have stayed away”.
you heard. 
“I will make you fall in love with me”,
I said.
